Elimination Chamber: Rhea Ripley Wins The Main Event
(CTN News) – The audience was left with a lasting impression after Rhea Ripley spoke about her homecoming during the event.
As part of WWE’s Elimination Chamber show, Rhea Ripley returned to her native Australia for the first time in her career, and she defeated Nia Jax in a match that managed to cap her return to the company.
A large crowd of more than 50,000 people gathered in support of Ripley, which was achieved by her alternating between a babyface style and Jax’s more traditional heel style in order to combat Jax’s style.
It is undeniable that Rhea Ripley has the potential to become one of the biggest names in the sport. The fact that Ripley upstaged the other two candidates in the headline bout was a breath of fresh air as WWE could have ended the show with either the men’s or women’s Elimination Chamber matches, but they chose Rhea Ripley.
Although there was no question Jax was capable of punishing Rhea Ripley for most of the match, at the end of the match, she chose to follow the tried-and-true strategy in order to overcome the larger opponent.
As the match ended, she hit a Rip Tide, which in commentary was highlighted in a phenomenal manner and one of the things she had failed to do throughout the match. As she explained in comments, it was the perfect way to conclude the match.
Following the match, Rhea Ripley and her family were able to celebrate the victory with their members at the ringside of the arena.
As this will be her first time defending the WWE women’s world championship against Becky Lynch, WrestleMania 40 will be one of the biggest events in WWE history.
