Twitter's Reaction To Miami Heat's Win Over Golden State Warriors

(CTN News) – The Golden State Warriors faced a depleted Miami Heat team on Thursday night, as Jimmy Butler, Kyle Lowry, and Caleb Martin were all absent.

However, despite missing key players, the Miami Heat managed to secure a resounding victory, marking their first win in Golden State since 2020.

Once again, it was guard Tyler Herro who led the charge for Miami. He showcased his scoring prowess by putting up 26 points on an impressive 55.5 percent shooting from the field. Since his return from injury,

Herro has been averaging 26.2 points per game, displaying no signs of slowing down and further strengthening his case for an All-Star selection.

Herro’s outstanding performances have been complemented by the impressive contributions of rookie Jaime Jaquez Jr. Both players have been instrumental in the Miami Heat’s success this season, causing Miami Heat fans to mock Portland Trail Blazers general manager Joe Cronin once again.

Initially, fans were disappointed with Cronin for not considering Jaquez Jr. and Herro in a trade for Damian Lillard. However, they now appreciate the duo’s exceptional performances in Miami.

In the recent victory, Herro, Jaquez Jr., and Nikola Jovic combined for a total of 54 points, reminding fans of what Cronin missed out on by not entertaining Miami’s trade package.

Forward Jamal Cain also received recognition for his contribution to the Heat’s triumph, as he led the team in scoring with 18 points. His relentless effort on the court proved to be the deciding factor in Miami’s victory.

With another win achieved without Butler, the narrative surrounding the Miami Heat is starting to change. Butler’s brilliance is now being matched by team victories, where every player is stepping up and making significant contributions.

Next, the Heat will face the Utah Jazz (13-19) on Saturday night. It is worth noting that the last time Miami played against the Jazz to close out the year, Tyler Herro delivered a game-winning buzzer-beater.
