Report: Real Madrid Agree To Terms With Alphonso Davies
(CTN News) – With reports suggesting a verbal agreement had been reached between Real Madrid and left-back Alphonso Davies, it seems that the Spanish giants are on the verge of securing the coveted left-back.
An interview with The Athletic has reported that Davies has expressed his desire to become a Madridista within the next few months, or after the expiration of his contract with Bayern Munich at the end of 2025, where there is no sign of him becoming a Madridista.
In an upcoming report, Bayern Munich are ready to offer the Canadian international more than a €50 million price tag, a deal that Real Madrid would consider to be below market value for the player.
There are reports that Real Madrid are looking for a deal far below market value for the Canadian international, according to MARCA.
In recent reports, it has been reported that the German club is interested in players such as Theo Hernandez, possibly to replace Davies. This suggests Real Madrid are open to exploring working together.
If Davies is unwilling to extend his contract with Bayern, Bayern may be incentivised to reach an agreement with Real Madrid. This will prevent losing him for free next season as a result of not extending his contract.
Several potential transfers are expected to begin soon following the announcement by both clubs that they are willing to move forward with the transfer process.
