Darrel Williams has had his professional career since 2018, and now after playing with Kansas City for 3 years, he has switched things up and has turned over to the Cardinals.

Is it worth placing bets on him? That is up to you. However, if you want an idea of what he is like in play, it is worth knowing how he did with the Chiefs.

Kansas City

Williams was rather underrated when it came to the draft back in 2018. But he signed with the Chiefs as a free agent when he was undrafted.

In 2018, he made 13 carries for 44 rushing yards and made 3 receptions for 27. He also made a receiving touchdown in his rookie year too.

By 2019, he faced off against the Lions. During this game he rushed 8 times for 13 and caught 3 passes for r43 yards for the team’s win.

However, he was injured in December 2019, which meant he finished the season with only 141 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns.

The Chiefs actually went on to win the Super Bowl while he was resting up.

In 2020, he finished his season with 39 carries for 169, as well as a rushing touchdown as well.

Williams earned the start for the divisional against the Browns thanks to an injury to Edwards-Helaire. In this game he rushed 78 yards for the 5 point margin win.

Then in March 2021, he finished the season with 557 and only just 14 months later did he decide to sign with the Cardinals for a single year contract.

Arizona

We do not know much about Williams and the Cardinals yet, but we are hoping they will provide him with room to grow and get better. His progress could see him as one of the best running backs this year.
