Nurkic Critics Draymond Green After Warriors Win: 'Didn't Learn Anything'

(CTN News) – Last time Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors played the Phoenix Suns, Green was suspended indefinitely.

On Saturday night, Draymond Green was on the court as Steph Curry drilled a go-ahead three-pointer with 0.7 seconds left to beat the Suns 113-112.

Earlier this month, Draymond Green slapped Suns center Jusuf Nurkic in the face in an incident that landed him an indefinite suspension.  The two players exchanged words and taunts on Saturday, with Nurkic saying Green learned nothing from his suspension.

Nurkic told reporters: “It’s sad. It doesn’t seem like he’s learned anything.” “It’s only a matter of time before he’ll knock somebody else again. I take everything back I said at the time. He doesn’t deserve a second chance.”

It was Nurkic who elucidated on what he felt Draymond Green did during the game that led him to say he did not learn anything from the suspension.  Nurkic told reporters that he thinks that Nurkic does things that he shouldn’t do, such as hitting people.

Green returned the “too small” gesture that Nurkic gave him after he scored in the third quarter, and two minutes later, Nurkic did the same for him.

In response to Nurkic’s postgame comments after the game, Green took a few seconds to respond to the news.

Actually, I thought I did pretty well tonight,” Draymond Green said.

“He tried to get inside my head, but he couldn’t.” He wants me to walk around silent like he does, but I won’t. It’s hard to win when you’re quiet.”

Yeah, I thought I did pretty well tonight. Yeah, he can keep riding the same horse he rolled in on and ride his a– out on the same horse. Because it isn’t working.”

In addition to scoring 15 points, Draymond Green also dished out nine assists and grabbed seven rebounds on the night.

Curry has provided a boost to the team each and every time he has returned, according to ESPN. You can talk about his defense every game since he connects our defense, which is obvious. The offensive work he did tonight, particularly in the fourth quarter, gave us tremendous energy in terms of the competitive spirit that is necessary to win a game such as tonight.

“Draymond is able to walk the line he is required to walk,” he concluded. I believe that this is one of the best games you have ever seen.

Golden State avoided being swept by the Suns with the victory.
