Waiver wire targets for fantasy football

  • PIT, @ATL, NO are the next opponents

  • The true value is $8

  • There is a desperate need for $13

  • For those on a budget: $3

Houston’s No. 1 pick has looked polished and poised after a brutal debut against a tough Ravens defense. Nico Collins, WR

The Texans’ running game has started slowly, while both and Fantasy Football Tank Dell have emerged as legitimate weapons. Early in the game, Stroud is fully in charge of his offense, with a high-volume passing attack already at his disposal.

  • @PHI, @CHI, @ATL are the next opponents

  • $6 is the true value

  • $9 is urgently needed

  • Budget-conscious: $3

In Week 3, Howell was not a great streaming option against the brutal Buffalo defense, but he was still extremely disappointing. During the blowout loss, he was sacked nine times and intercepted four times.

I will be returning to the watering hole to stream Howell against the Eagles, who looked very porous on the defensive end in Week 2 against the Vikings. Then there are the cuddly Chicago Bears. Streaming Howell remains a high-upside proposition.

Winston (NO): 0% rostered

  • TB, @NE, @HOU are the next opponents

  • $5 is the true value

  • Need urgently: $7

  • Budget-conscious: $2

The Saints will have to hand the reins to the only quarterback in NFL history with 30 touchdowns and 30 interceptions.

When Winston was QB4 that season (2019), he had no difficulty moving the ball down the field and into the end zone – something Carr has struggled with for some time.

There will be a reunion with Jameis’ former team in Week 4. As a pass-funnel defense, Tampa Bay will have difficulty covering all of the talented Saints’ receiving weapons.

MIN, @DET, @MIA will be the next opponents

  • $3 is the true value

  • $6 is urgently needed

  • If you are on a budget: $1

Analysis: This was a pleasant surprise. Bryce Young was replaced by the Red Rifle

The Seahawks were gashed for more than 25 fantasy points in Week 3. My only concern with spending FAAB on Dalton is that Young’s injury may not prevent him from playing in any more games.

In the event that Carolina decides to keep their top overall pick on the shelf for a longer period of time, their upcoming schedule would be very favorable for the journeyman from TCU to produce more impressive numbers.
