Patriots vs. Steelers: The Patriots Got Into The Win Column For The First Time
(CTN News) – Patriots vs. Steelers: It was the first time the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers squared off since the start of the 2019 season. It was the first win for the Patriots this season after they lost to the Falcons in Week 1.

First quarter of Patriots vs. Steelers
Mitch Trubisky and the Steelers offense get the ball first after the Patriots won the coin toss and deferred. Pittsburgh went three-and-out as a result of the decision.
As Myles Bryant headed back to the end zone, chaos quickly ensued. Luckily, he did not possess the ball on the field of play, resulting in a touchback.
On their opening drive, Mac Jones and the Patriots offense found success like they did last week. With a pair of third down conversions of eight and 16 yards, Jones demonstrated his connection with Jakobi Meyers.
As the drive stalled in the red area, a delay of game penalty set up a third-and-long situation. In the end, the Patriots settled for a 28-yard field goal after a nine-yard pass to Nelson Agholor. In a Patriots-Steelers game, the Patriots won 3 to 0.
Second quarter For Patriots vs. Steelers
New England’s defense struggled to get off the field on its first drive of the second quarter. Trubisky found Deontae Johnson for third-and-10 and third-and-17 conversions before Harris converted a short third-and-one.
Afterward, Harris converted a third-and-one in the red area before a Jahlani Tavai sack forced the Patriots to kick a 36-yard field goal by Chris Boswell. In the Patriots-Steelers game, the Patriots won 3 to 3.
A few tough offensive line plays led the Patriots in the wrong direction on their next drive. A free runner resulted in a throwaway and eventual intentional grounding penalty on Mac Jones on second-down.
On the next play, Isaiah Wynn followed up with a hold. On third down, Jones found Meyers for 24 yards, but it was not enough to convert the third-and-26.
Third quarter of Patriots vs. Steelers:
Damien Harris found some room on the ground and in the air as New England’s offense got back to work to start the second half. Using his power, Rhamondre Stevenson converted a third-and-seven on the ground after Jones’ pass sailed high to an open Kendrick Bourne.
Isaiah Wynn’s false start two plays later slowed New England’s momentum, as they had to settle for a 52-yard field goal that Nick Folk miss
Fourth quarter of Patriots vs. Steelers:
Second-year running back Najee Harris broke off runs of 14 and 8 yards and hauled in an eight-yard reception as the Steelers tried to rally. In addition, Pittsburgh gained 14 yards on a reverse run by Olszewski and 13 yards on a pass to Diontae Johnson.
Pittsburgh finished off their drive with a touchdown pass to Freiermuth on third down from eight yards out. A diving snag by Diontae Johnson led to a two-point conversion.
