Open Thread On The Boston Celtics And The NBA Trade Deadline

(CTN News) – The Boston Celtics NBA Trade Deadline is here! There will be approximately 1,045 rumors regarding NBA trades, but only about 15-20 will be implemented, most of which will take place within the last hour.

Xavier Tillman was acquired by the Boston Celtics within a short period of time (more analysis on that to follow). As well, they still have the Grant Williams TPE to utilize before it disappears (once the 2nd apron rules take effect this offseason, they will no longer be able to use TPEs).

I believe Tillman is already a better player than the types of players I expected to hear the Celtics acquire. As a result, anything that happens today is gravy. Brad will, however, carry that growth mentality into the workplace. Getting singles and doubles all over the field.
