EA Unveiled The Logo For Its Rebranded Soccer Simulation Series ‘EA Sports FC’
(CTN NEWS) – EA has unveiled the logo for its updated title, EA Sports FC, nearly a year after officially announcing its divorce from FIFA.
Additionally, FIFA recently released its first soccer game sans EA, which provides a radically different playing experience from the long-running simulation series.
The logo for EA’s newly renamed soccer simulation series, EA Sports FC, has been unveiled.
After splitting from the developer last year, FIFA released a casual mobile soccer game this week in collaboration with another game studio.
EA Sports FC: The iconic EA Sports logo is placed next to the FC (Football Club) initials, styled into a triangle
According to the company, the player emblem form in its video games and triangle-themed soccer techniques inspired the triangle.
Even though EA Sports FC said it will give more details about its upcoming soccer game in July, the company has already begun promoting it to acquaint customers with its new identity.
The business will soon start promoting the new brand at soccer matches worldwide via billboard advertisements and gear.
The easy soccer coach game AI League was just released by FIFA and its creator Altered State Machine on the Google Play Store, with an iOS version on the way.
In the game, players can direct 4-on-4 bouts, including cartoon characters with customizable AI
Strangely, the 2023 Women’s World Cup, which begins in Australia and New Zealand in a few months, is not referenced in the title; rather, it is based on last year’s World Cup in Qatar.
One of the new experiences FIFA previously mentioned is AI League. The group characterizes the others as convivial, laid-back, and Web3-focused.
Users will be able to own blockchain-based metaverse properties through one, Uplandme.
The EA and FIFA dispute initially surfaced in 2021. FIFA reportedly demanded $1 billion from EA every four years in order to license the name of the soccer organization and the World Cup competition.
EA declined. EA further asserted that FIFA placed limitations on the simulation games’ creativity.
Since the separation, EA has made it seem as though without FIFAA restricting it.
It may add more game modes beyond 11-on-11, begin more commercial collaborations like its reported Nike deal, and live host events like streaming of actual matches.
EA Sports FC will still include a number of other international leagues despite losing FIFA and the World Cup, such as the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Women’s Champions League, La Liga Santander, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Serie A, CONMEBOL Libertadores, Barclays Women’s Super League, NWSL, and many others.
Although FIFA has stated that it intends to find a new partner for simulation games, it is unknown which developer would be able to produce full-fat FIFA games in place of EA Sports FC.
Konami, the sole rival of EA in that market, is still getting over the terrible launch of eFootball.
