Young Thai star Pittayarat Panuphol continued making waves in the Worldwide Selangor Masters Holdings, when they took a two shot lead after the third round at Kota Permai Golf and Country Club yesterday.

The magnificent putt to join an impressive five-under 67 for lead from 2007 champion Antonio Lascuna of the Philippines with a three-day total of 203.

Lascuna jumped into the race for the title with a flawless six under 66 for a total 205.

Australian Adam Groom, who also shot a 66 and Joonas from Finland with 70 Granberg two strokes behind and are tied for third in the Asia RM1.2mil tour event.

S. Malaysia Siva Nicholas Fung Chandhran and also the progress made in the third round as it climbed to fifth place with solid qualifications. Siva shot a 67 to add to his previous score of 72 and 69, while Fung was one of three players to set the lowest score of the day with a 66.

They are grouped with Thailand Thaworn Wiratchant veteran Australian Siddikur Kieran Pratt and Bangladesh Rahman, but they are five strokes behind the leader.

Defending champion Angelo Philippines, launched a one-over 73 for a three-day total of 212. He is nine shots in the head.
