Pakistan Batsman Scores 180 Against New Zealand In The Second ODI.

(CTN News) – The second ODI between Pakistan and New Zealand will be played on Saturday, 30th April 2023 in Karachi and the live score can be found below.

With New Zealand batting first, Fakhar Zaman scored an unbeaten 180 as Pakistan chased down 337 in their second ODI against New Zealand. This victory gives the hosts a 2-0 lead in the series, which is a great start to the season.

As a result of Mitchell’s unbeaten 129 on Saturday, 29th April, New Zealand managed to post 336/5 in 50 overs, thanks to Mitchell’s unbeaten 129.

In this match, the 31-year-old batsman scored his second successive century as he continued his dominance from the previous game. Having made 98, Tom Latham, who captained the side, provided him with an ably supporting performance.

It was New Zealand who lost opener Will Young early in the innings after Pakistan captain Babar Azam won the toss and decided to bowl in the second match of the five-match series.

Azam also chose to bowl in the first game. As a result, Chad Bowes and Mitchell were able to build a solid partnership.

Rauf broke the 86-run stand between Bowes and Rauf at the end of the second ODI. In Bowes’ first ODI half-century, he was batting at the time, and it was his maiden half-century.

As Pakistan opened the campaign in the first of five one-day international matches between Pakistan and New Zealand on Thursday, they were able to beat the Kiwis by five wickets in the opening match of the series.

Despite not being successful in their previous T20I series, the host team showed restraint in chasing down the target of 289 runs even though they had been unsuccessful in their previous T20I series.

The playing XI for the New Zealand team consisted of Chad Bowes, Will Young, Daryl Mitchell, Tom Latham (w/c), Mark Chapman, Henry Nicholls, James Neesham, Rachin Ravindra, Henry Shipley, Ish Sodhi, Matt Henry.

Fakhar Zaman, Imam-ul-Haq, Babar Azam (c), Abdullah Shafique, Mohammad Rizwan (w), Agha Salman, Mohammad Nawaz, Usama Mir, Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf, Ihsanullah are the Pakistan playing XI.
