68 More Dengue Patients Hospitalized In Bangladesh

(CTN News) _ Dengue patients have been admitted to health facilities across the country at least 68 times in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of official hospitalizations to 5,185 so far this year.

As of 8:00am on Friday, 67 people have been hospitalized in Dhaka city and one outside, according to the Directorate General of Health Services.

The Directorate of Health in Dhaka has found high densities of Aedes mosquitoes during a pre-monsoon survey conducted in April, which predicts an escalation of dengue conditions if preventative measures are not taken in the near future.
