The My Hot 10 Spotify Feature: What It Is And How To Use It

(CTN News) – Many listeners share their Spotify Wrap results on social media, which is an annual rundown of their favorite songs, artists, and podcasts from the previous year.

Various third parties have since jumped on the bandwagon with their own individualised stats, so you don’t have to wait until the end of the year to see yours.

The trend even included an AI chatbot that was able to ‘Judge My Spotify’.

Check out your Hot 10 and how to share it online.

Spotify’s My Hot 10: How to use it

Log in with your Spotify account via the My Hot 10 website to access your personalised ‘My Hot 10’.

You can also see your stats by entering your Last.fm username.

Your recent top 10 songs and artists will be displayed once you grant the third-party feature permission to access your data.

Alternatively, you can save the image directly to your device, upload it, and share it.

On Elon Musk’s X, users have shared their top ten ‘hottest’ or most streamed songs.

Listeners shared their results, writing: “expose your top 10 (I’ve been streaming, Sabrina will be all over my Spotify wrapped!!!) ps. y’all should listen to Ryan Beatty you won’t regret it!”

I posted on X: “SHOCK! by Ayase is now #1!!!!! My favorite song!! 3 songs – Regine Velasquez, Nicki Minaj, 1 song – Superfruit, Ayase, Lady Gaga & Ariana Grande, Doja Cat, Lil Wayne, and Drake.”

Third: “My last Top 10 on were almost all Kang Daniel’s songs. Weirdly, Paranoia didn’t make it.”

A look at Spotify’s predictions for 2023

What songs and artists will dominate the global charts this year as fans use My Hot 10 Spotify to predict their own Spotify Wrapped?

Wrapped 2022 was dominated by artists such as Bad Bunny, Taylor Swift, Drake, The Weeknd, and BTS, but will they be the most streamed this year?

Slingo has analyzed Spotify user playlists to predict which tracks will top the 2023 Wrapped charts based on the number of times 2023’s most popular songs appear.

According to Spotify, there are two songs that are most likely to appear on Wrapped this year.

130 playlists feature the dance tracks ‘I’m Good (Blue)’ by David Guetta and ‘(It Goes Like) Nanana – Edit’ by Peggy Gou.

According to Spotify, ‘Miracle’ by Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding is predicted to be the third most popular track in 2023.

The DJ-pop star pairing released their 90s-inspired anthem in March, and it spent eight weeks at the top of the UK charts.

In fourth place, Dua Lipa’s Dance The Night features in 94 public playlists, followed by David Guetta’s Baby Don’t Hurt Me on 92 playlists.

Calvin Harris’ hits are also more prominently featured in user playlists than any other artist, according to Slingo’s research.

For a number of playlist appearances, Miracle (ft Ellie Goulding), Desire (ft Sam Smith), One Kiss (ft Dua Lipa) and Summer rank 3rd, 8th, 28th and 45th, respectively.

Additionally, three songs from the Barbie soundtrack are predicted to be among the top 50 most popular Spotify songs of 2023
