Zoom Suffers a Brief Outage
(CTN News) _ Due to a brief outage on Thursday morning, Zoom was potentially disrupting some of the users who have come to rely on the service as a place for meetings during the pandemic as a result of the outage.
As of early this morning, there have been tens of thousands of reports from users reporting problems with Zoom starting around 11 a.m.
ET, according to data from the outage-tracking site Down Detector, which keeps track of outages.
As of 11:30 a.m., however, there were fewer reports of issues as compared to previous mornings.
“We are aware of a number of issues impacting Zoom at the moment,” the company tweeted early Thursday morning.
A member of our engineering team is investigating this matter for us.”
In accordance with the company’s status page, the issue was identified at 11:30 a.m.
ET and was resolved at 11:37 a.m. ET, according to the company’s status page.
The company tweeted just after noon ET that the short-lived outage had been resolved by the end of the day.
“Everything should now be working as it should! “””””” Zoom announced in a statement.
In order to keep track of the situation, we are continuing to monitor it.
