(CTN News) – A new solution will be launched by WhatsApp to make managing multiple accounts easier for those who manage multiple accounts.
The CEO of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg, has announced a new feature that will enable Android users to seamlessly switch between two separate WhatsApp accounts on a single device with a single click of the finger.
With the new feature, you don’t have to carry an extra device or worry about repeat logins due to the inconvenience of having to carry an extra device.
As a result of this feature, users are able to streamline their management of conversations across different WhatsApp accounts, which makes it particularly convenient for users who juggle both work and personal lives at the same time.
We expect to begin rolling out the new service in the next couple of weeks, with a rollout scheduled for the end of this month.
It is important to note that setting up a second account will still require the user to use a separate number and SIM card (or a device that supports multi-SIM or eSIM).
In order to begin, a one-time passcode will be sent via SMS to the second account, which can be received on the device or SIM card of the second account.
According to WhatsApp spokesperson Ellie Heatrick, following this verification, the WhatsApp app will work seamlessly between both accounts without the need for a second device or SIM card, since the WhatsApp app will be able to detect both accounts automatically in the future.
