Russian Officials and UN Officials meet to Discuss Humanitarian Needs in Ukraine
On Monday, representatives from the Russian Ministry of Defense (MOD) met at the Russian embassy in Moscow with representatives from the United Nations to talk about the situation in Ukraine.
During the meeting, the formula for solving humanitarian problems on the territory of Ukraine, the DPR and the LPR was discussed, a statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense (MOD) stated without providing any further details.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the decision comes after UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and Russia’s Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu held a telephone call.
It is absolutely crucial to establish a pause in the fighting in Ukraine in order to ensure the safe passage of civilians from Mariupol, Kharkiv, and Sumy, as well as from all other places affected by the conflict, and in order to provide life-saving humanitarian supplies to those who remain.” Guterres tweeted Sunday.
