What did Denver Police Chief Paul Pazen say at Press Conference?

At a press conference Monday night, Denver Police Chief Paul Pazen assured residents that the community was safe and that only one suspect had been identified. Still, Pazen noted that the shooting had occurred at an unfortunate time.

The holiday season is not the time to have this type of spree take place, and we cannot lose sight of the victims, including the Lakewood agent who is still fighting for his or her life.

The officer was hospitalized.

The loss of one of our own is a difficult day for the Lakewood Police family, Lakewood agent John Romero said. “We are asking everyone in our community to send their thoughts and prayers to that agent and their family.”
