U-Verse TV Service From AT&T Is Currently Unavailable
(CTN News) – Have you experienced problems accessing your U-verse TV service? AT&T reports that other customers are also experiencing an outage.
AT&T has reported that the outage is nationwide as of Monday morning. In its website, the company states that it is “working to restore services as soon as possible.”
Upon receiving a post on the X, formerly called Twitter, the representative responded by stating that the outage was the result of inclement weather.
It has been reported on X that some users have been unable to access U-verse TV since Sunday evening.
According to a photo posted by a user, when they attempt to watch their U-verse service, they receive the following message: “U-verse is not available at this time.”. “Please try again later.” The customer is then asked to restart their receiver, which they said was not helpful.
The DownDetector, which collects user reports regarding unavailable or problematic services, reports Portland, Oregon, Chicago, St. Louis, Dallas, Houston, Wichita, Kansas, and Detroit as being most affected.
It has been reported that AT&T’s Down Detector has noticed a spike in reports of outages, most of which are related to U-verse, around 9 a.m. on Monday, Central Time.
In response to a request for additional information, AT&T directed Nexstar’s WGN to DirecTV, which was also experiencing an outage. A spokesperson for the cable company, co-owned by AT&T, confirmed that services had been restored shortly before 11 a.m. Eastern Time.
AT&T’s website can be used to determine whether you are experiencing an outage.
