American Singer Nicole Saengsuree Killed by Speeding Car in Chiang Mai Thailand
Her uninjured friend identified Miss Saengsuree as she lied dead in front of the Central Festival Chiang Mai store on the highway from Chiang Mai to Lampang at 00.20 a.m. Friday with broken skull and bones.
Police say say the driver of the Toyota Yaris which hit Miss Saengsuree, Mr Ratanapol Bunraem the driver admitted that he drove at high speed and did not see them as it was a curve there.
Miss Saengsuree climbed over a barrier to cross to another side of the highway at the same time as his car arrived at the curve and hit her, he said.
Passersby said the victim’s friend burst into tears near her body as he pleaded them to sing a Thai song “Duen Phen” (Lunar Moon) which was the most favorite song of Miss Saengsureeite to send her spirit to heaven.
They agreed to sing the song for the American victim amid the tearful eyes of her friend. See Tragic Photo’s Here
Her body was later collected to the Chiang Mai hospital for autopsy. Mr Ratanapol Bunraem the driver was later booked for reckless driving that caused death to another.
Miss Saengsuree was born from a Thai mother and an American father, Nicole Sangsuree was a singer, songwriter, educator and actress. Her background in theater and passion for telling the truth colored her live performances, which were always sexy, powerful and humorous. She was born and raised in Portland, Oregon and had only visited Thailand twice.
Since the age of thirteen, when she first learned how to play the guitar, the gutsy singer-songwriter Sangsuree had been composing and performing songs to captive and enamored audiences all along the west coast of the United States.
