Christmas Party Venues

Christmas Party Venues: It is almost Christmas, and it is time to think about where you will host your next event. There are several options when it comes to spaces, whether you’re planning a small gathering or you want to rent a mansion for the event. At least three months in advance is recommended for booking the venue for your Christmas party event (some venues may take bookings up to 12 months in advance). Let me share with you a few Christmas party venues that may suit your needs.

Deciding on what your party needs:

  1. What will the number of people be?
  2. Are there children who need entertainment or adult supervision?
  3. Do you need catering or bartending services?
  4. Where can people sit if there are a lot of people?
  5. Will there be a cleanup crew?
  6. Are people coming from outside the area?
  7. Would you like a dancing area?

Christmas Party Venues For Large groups (30+)

The size of the party is the most important factor to consider when choosing a venue. Whether your party is for your company, your club, or your family, there needs to be enough room for everyone. According to traditional requirements, each person requires 10 square feet. You’ll need 350 square feet for 35 people.

Hotel Ballroom

A large hotel chain’s benefits and amenities make it easy to host a large group Christmas party there. Almost every location is accessible and convenient. They also have shuttles for large groups if you are hosting people for a few days.

  1. This may be the perfect venue for your guest list since a ballroom can hold a lot of people.
  2. Rental tables and chairs are available.
  3. Hotel rooms are available onsite for guests traveling overnight.
  4. I appreciate that the event staff cleaned up after you.
  5. Booking staff can assist with catering and bartending arrangements.

Event Space/Community Center

You can hold a sit-down event at a community center with enough space for dancing if you need a place to hold the event.
Check out local clubs such as Elks Lodges and Rotary Clubs for facilities.
Even if you do not live in the community or belong to these clubs, you can usually work your way into a booking.
Owners enjoy the extra income from renting out their properties and can accommodate your personal needs very well.
Since these places will only have the bare minimum of decorations, I prefer to bring my own decorations.

Winery/Vineyard

  1. The scenery and natural beauty of these areas make me fall in love with them.
  2. Even if the weather is chilly, the gathering rooms at the facility will be warm.
  3. The holiday decorations in the vineyards make it a perfect venue for a gathering.
  4. If there is no “on-premise” catering available, outside catering can be arranged.
  5. Several cases of wine can be purchased as Christmas gifts. Some cases can even be purchased at a discount.
  6. Consider shuttles if your group likes to “throw down”.

Brewery

  1. Beer breweries are excellent venues for hosting events, just like vineyards.
  2. The fact that breweries provide cozy areas where people can gather makes me feel good.
  3. Due to the venue’s focus on events, it often has a separate area for parties.
  4. There are typically tables and chairs for the size you will need in these areas.
  5. Find out what kind of special touches breweries can add to your Christmas event to make it the best it can be.
  6. You might even be able to give your guests growlers as gifts. Breweries may give you a discount.

Barn Rental

  1. Everywhere you look, rustic barns are being used for events.
  2. The surroundings lend themselves to a more natural feel.
  3. Holiday events here are easy to plan. The landscape is perfect for holiday photos.
  4. For the time of year, you are using the area, I make sure the temperature regulators available correspond to the time of year.
  5. You may be surprised by the number of options in your area when you search “barn rentals near me”.

Church Multipurpose Room

  1. Buildings like these are designed to host celebratory events.
  2. In most cases, there will be a full kitchen right next to the meeting room.
  3. I love the fact that they are affordable.
  4. A large Christmas party usually requires all the basic needs such as chairs and tables.
  5. It is only natural that this area will be decorated for Christmas since it is the purveyor of all things “Christmas.”
  6. It may be necessary to find a church that allows serving alcohol if you want to serve it. My friend’s Catholic church used to serve wine and beer at functions when I was a kid.

Christmas Party Venues for Small Groups (<30)

In situations with a smaller group of people, there are venues better suited to meet your needs. Then, I create a custom Christmas party at one of these great locations based on the needs of the party. Small groups of people can also raise funds easier via crowdsourcing. You can then set a budget that meets your needs.

Neighborhood Club House

  1. A neighborhood’s HOA (homeowners association) is responsible for maintaining the clubhouses.
  2. If you live in a neighborhood, you will be able to rent the space for relatively little since you are already paying the HOA fee.
  3. You can check the rental fees if you do not live nearby.
  4. The location provides a kitchenette, dining area, lounging area, and indoor activities (such as pool, foosball, and darts).
  5. I like decorating these areas because you can utilize traditional home Christmas decorations. It’s basically a giant house that is designed for parties.

Restaurant Group Rooms

  1. The venue can be one of the easiest options for groups with food, drink, and service requirements.
  2. Several restaurants have rooms specifically for group events.
  3. The large menu is perfect for people with dietary restrictions.
  4. Guests can order from the main menu or select a menu from the restaurant.
  5. My favorite restaurants are located in pleasant downtown areas.
  6. Find out if your favorite local places offer group spaces for the number of people on your list.
  7. Make reservations three months in advance. By November, most places are full.

Rotating Rooftop Bar

  1. The top of some restaurants in big downtown areas actually rotates slowly so that diners are able to see the entire city skyline.
  2. You can find the list of rotating restaurants here by searching for your country!
  3. It can be fun, memorable, and unique to take a small group out to dinner at one of these restaurants.

Country Club

  1. Almost all of these rooms are available for rent to the general public.
  2. You can see a complete list of what is available for rent.
  3. There will be no need for you to lift a finger since Country Clubs will provide you with a complete experience.
  4. As these rooms get booked fast for Christmas events, please book as soon as possible.
  5. A deposit is required when booking the rooms.

Neighborhood Theatre

  1. You may find it quite glamorous to rent a theatre for your engagement.
  2. Local theatres are often willing to host regular events and can be very accommodating.
  3. The stage allows you to provide great entertainment for your guests, such as a band, comedian, or improv group.
  4. Perhaps you could even create a Hollywood theme party for your Christmas celebration. This would make it stand out from other Christmas parties.

Rent a House/Cabin

  • Are you planning a Christmas party at a mansion? Check this out!
  • When you have out-of-town guests, I think a house rental is perfect.
  • Just make sure you check the rental agreement.
  • A large cleaning fee may break the budget, so keep an eye out for this.
  • Houses provide a cozy, holiday atmosphere that brings the family together.
  • Rental cabins will have a rustic charm for the holiday season.
  • For added entertainment, many cabins come with pool tables, jacuzzis, and even putting greens.

Music Venue

  • Private events can be held in music venues that offer a lot of space.
  • The fact that the venue has bartenders and DJs on hand makes staffing them easy.
  • You will find a good area for moving around if your group enjoys dancing.
  • A band might also be of interest. I really enjoy the classic Americana Christmas bands.
  • It will be necessary to arrange outside catering. There are not many music venues with kitchen facilities.

Tips for Planning Your Party at Your Christmas Party Venue:
