3.7 Earthquake Reported in Chiang Rai’s Mae Saruay District
According to statistics from the Seismology Office, said quake struck at 8:30 AM
CHIANG RAI – An earthquake measuring 3.7 on the Richter open-scale, at a 3 km depth shook Chiang Rai’s Mae Saruay district early today, according to the Seismological Bureau.
The quake at 08:33 am was reported after a 2.5 Richter scale tremor at 05:20 am in Mae Saruay district. At present, there is no report of any damage and injury. Meanwhile, an official of the Chiang Rai Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office will look for any possible damage in the area.
