CHIANG RAI – Pol Lt-Colonel Thirawat Thammasorn, of the Muang Chiang Rai police station has told the media that the body of an unidentified woman was found at a sluice gate on the Kok River in Chiang Rai’s Muang district on Wednesday morning.
Colonel Thirawat said the woman was found dressed in pajamas and wasn’t carrying any identification. He said that from a preliminary examination her body showed no signs of trauma and that their were wasn’t any busing on her neck. Police believe she had been dead for about three days.
Her body was sent to Chiang Rai’s Muang district hospital for autopsy and police are investigating to find her identity and family.
