'Dead by Daylight' Teaser Hints At Alan Wake DLC

(CTN News) – Dead by Daylight developer, Behaviour Interactive, teased something new coming to its asymmetrical multiplayer horror game, and it sure looks like Alan Wake will be involved in the new addition.

As part of the promo, Behaviour posted a simple but straightforward teaser on Monday, showing a flashlight cutting through darkness and laying next to some blood-splashed pages.

A more detailed reveal will be made by Behavior on Tuesday, Jan. 9, but the Dead by Daylight community is already deducing that it is likely going to be a new licensed Survivor that is related to Alan Wake.

Remedy Entertainment’s psychological thriller/survival horror series starring Tom Hardy is known for the fact that he is known for his use of flashlights to burn away his foes’ darkness from within.

In Dead by Daylight, flashlights are already featured as an item that Survivors are able to use in order to blind Killers or otherwise interfere with their abilities.

The use of a torch in Alan Wake’s eponymous game and its sequel last year was far more intense than what you might imagine, and it could become one of the most powerful tools in your survival kit.

There will be more information available on Tuesday about this, but it is a possibility that Behaviour could also feature another survivor,

Dead by Daylight Alan Wake 2’s co-star Saga Anderson, as a possible tie-in.

As the duo headlined Remedy’s long-awaited sequel to Alan Wake, one that has been in the making for 13 years, only Alan has made the crossover to another game at the time, Fortnite.

As part of Behaviour Interactive’s Dead by Daylight video game series, Chucky from the Child’s Play franchise has been added to the game as a killer. A new licensed survivor has been added to the list of licensed survivors with the addition of Ellen Ripley from the Alien franchise.
