PUBG Mobile 3.0 Update: Release Date And Features

(CTN News) – There will be a major update for PUBG Mobile in 2024, which will be the 3.0 update. It will replace the 2.9 update and build upon its success.

Among the new features are the Shadow Force-themed mode. Android and iOS devices will be updated soon, and emulators will be available. There are millions of gamers worldwide who are eagerly awaiting the release of the 3.0 update, which might alter the game’s dynamics.

What is the global release date of the PUBG Mobile 3.0 update?

This week’s 2.9 update (which features Frozen Kingdom mode) has been immensely popular, but it’s getting close to the end. It is most likely that the PUBG Mobile 3.0 update will be released globally on January 9 or January 10.

The Vietnam version will be released on January 8 and the patch notes for the 3.0 update (global version) will be announced through an Instagram post, so the dates above have been calculated accordingly. The time taken to release previous updates was also taken into account.

In the meantime, delays were observed during the release of recent updates across different regions and devices. PUBG Mobile 3.0 update is expected to be rolled out over the next few days by Krafton.

It is recommended that players have a stable internet connection and enough storage to download the new update once it becomes available. In addition to updating their game, players with different versions cannot team up in PUBG Mobile.

PUBG Mobile 3.0 update features list

Several key features of Krafton’s new 3.0 variant have been announced recently. Among the new features in version 3.0 are:

  • The Shadow Force theme mode includes the Shadow Blade (also known as Katana), Skythether Hook, Proxy Scout, respawn island, battle and shadow outposts.

  • New map, new enemies, and new weapons added to Metro Royale.

  • A new bolt action sniper attribute – Bullet penetration, healing while driving, and control improvements have been added to Classic Mode.
