Xbox Game Pass Adds New Games For April 2023

(CTN NEWS) – For PC Game Pass customers as well as those using consoles and the cloud, the most recent Xbox Game Pass update has brought the full version of Everspace 2 and Iron Brigade.

After one new game was announced earlier this week, these two are the newest additions to the Xbox Game Pass portfolio for April 2023.

It received mainly favorable reviews when it was first released, and in 2021 it unexpectedly became popular, frequently being acclaimed as one of the finest video game releases of the year.

Loop Hero joined title Pass on the same day that it made its Xbox debut, therefore even though it wasn’t touted as an Xbox Game Pass day one title, it could still be argued that it met the requirements.

Another game that Xbox didn’t promote as a “day one release” is Everspace 2, yet even with its complete release, it would still be considered to be one. Starting today, anyone with an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass membership can play Everspace 2 in its entirety.

Iron Brigade is an older game initially launched for the Xbox 360 in 2011 before being made available for PC in 2012. It is playable on consoles and the cloud.

Iron Brigade‘s tardy inclusion in the Xbox Game Pass list is a bit surprising. After all, Microsoft-owned Double Fine Studios, which produced and distributed Iron Brigade. Even if several Double Fine titles are still missing from the Xbox Game Pass catalog, they may soon join the subscription program, just like Iron Brigade did.

While it’s unclear whether other Double Fine games will be added to Xbox Game Pass, customers do know about a few other releases they may anticipate in April 2023.

Ghostwire: Tokyo will be available for Xbox Game Pass; on April 13, NHL 23 will be added to Game Pass Ultimate; and on April 18, Minecraft Legends will be made available.

On April 20, Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly will be available on Game Pass, and on April 27, The Last Case of Benedict Fox will be available.

Homestead Arcana, a farming/life simulation game, will be available on Xbox Game Pass starting on April 21.

However, since the complete list of games scheduled to release in the second half of April 2023 hasn’t been made public, Xbox Game Pass customers may have even more to look forward to this month. It will heat their emotions as well as playing real money pokies in Australia.
