The Epic Games Store Announces a Free Game for January 25th

(CTN News) – From January 25 to February 1, you can download Infinifactory for nothing from the Epic Games Store. Freebies are usually available every Thursday at 10am CT on the Epic Games.

In the week preceding last week’s giveaway, Epic Games ran into an unfortunate hiccup. From January 11 to January 18, Sail Forth was free on the Epic Games Store, but users had to pay for it.

The giveaway appears to be on schedule this week after the error was resolved. Based on our testing, Epic Store users can download the current free game without issue.

Love, an indie platformer, is currently free on the Epic Games through January 25. You can complete Love in less than an hour, though if you want to complete it 100%, you’ll have to spend much more time playing.

When Love is rotated out of the Epic Games Store free game lineup on January 25, Infinifactory will take its place.

This sandbox puzzle game lets players build factories. While critics initially reacted negatively to it, fans have responded positively, giving it an “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating on Steam.

Considering Infinifactory usually retails for $24.99, Epic Games  users should definitely take advantage of the free game offer while it lasts.

It is the deadline on Thursday, February 1 for users to claim Infinifactory for their digital libraries. A new game will replace Infinifactory at 10am CT on that day, but we don’t know exactly what it will be yet. Every week, Epic Games Store free games leak online, but it’s usually a surprise.

Until now, Epic Games Store free games have covered a variety of genres, sizes, and scopes. For now, Epic Games fans can download Love and Infinifactory.
