Apple Blames iPhone 15 Overheating on Flaw in iOS 17

Apple has blamed the overheating of its new iPhone 15 on a flaw in its operating system and updates to apps such as Instagram.

Since the release of the current edition of the smartphone in September, several users have complained that the smartphones are becoming too hot to touch. Apple stated that there was an issue when updating the phone to iOS 17.

However, it also stated that updates to third-party programmes are “overloading the system.”

According to Apple, the iPhone may feel warmer in the first few days “after setting up or restoring the device because of increased background activity.” The business stated: “We have identified a few conditions which can cause iPhones to run warmer than expected.”
