Dak Prescott Says After The Packers' Loss, "I Sucked Tonight"

(CTN News) – When asked about Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott during Sunday’s embarrassing playoff loss to the Green Bay Packers, Prescott did not mince words.

In a statement to reporters, Dak Prescott stated, “I sucked tonight.”.

Prescott threw two critical interceptions, including a pick six, in addition to his 403 passing yards and three touchdown passes.

Having multiple interceptions at AT&T Stadium was the first time in his career.

There was a little bit of delay, but none of that mattered at that point. It was fought. That’s all I know how to do, but, yeah, it’s about winning,” the Cowboys quarterback stated. His goal was to win the playoffs and then win the final game. It was extremely challenging.

It took Dak Prescott and star hideout CeeDee Lamb a while to come to an understanding early in the game.

As a result of the Packers defense concealing their appearances, the Cowboys quarterback credited them.

The moment we got the process going, it was too late,” Prescott said. There was no way of getting around the fact that we were defeated. There is no way to sugarcoat it. I obviously did not play well.”

Dak Prescott’s one-year contract is in place for the Cowboys.

The possibility of Prescott signing an extension has been widely speculated.

In the regular season, Dak Prescott led the league with 36 touchdown passes, making him a strong candidate for the MVP award. The Cowboys quarterback believes that head coach Mike McCarthy has helped him improve this season.

Dak Prescott defended McCarthy when asked about his job security.

There is no doubt that he is one of the best. I am not sure how there can be (questions about his job security), but I understand the business; in that instance, I should also be included on that list.
