CHONBURI – A night of dancing and drinks at a local pub in Sriracha, Chonburi, has left two young women shaken and seeking justice after an alleged encounter involving illicit substances and sexual assault. The case, which has drawn significant attention, involves a 20-year-old woman who claims she was drugged by a pub server before being taken to his private residence.
According to reports from Thairath, the incident began on the night of May 17. The victim, referred to as “A,” visited a nightlife venue in the Sriracha district with her friends. She reports that a server at the establishment approached their table, offering beer and joining their group for drinks.
Throughout the evening, the server allegedly provided the group with electronic cigarettes. As the venue neared closing time, he invited the group to eat at a nearby shrimp fishing restaurant. The situation took a dark turn when the group was then persuaded to go to the server’s condo in the Bo Ko alley area.
Once inside the apartment, the victim claims the man produced a finely ground white powder in a tube, which he pressured her to inhale. Shortly after inhaling the substance, she began to experience intense dizziness and a loss of physical control.
Incapacitated During the Rape
The victim alleges that while she was incapacitated, the man raped her. Her friend, identified as “B,” was also present in the condo. According to witness accounts, B was in the living room and attempted to intervene, but she too felt completely sapped of strength after inhaling the same white powder.
“I could see what was happening to my friend, but I couldn’t move to help her,” the friend stated. She also noted seeing numerous “K-pods” (referring to illicit ketamine devices) scattered throughout the room.
Following the assault, the victim managed to convince the man to let her leave. Upon exiting the bedroom, she found her friend collapsed in the living room. Together, they made their way to the parking lot and contacted a male acquaintance to pick them up via motorcycle.
Both women have confirmed that they had no prior relationship or acquaintance with the server. Following the ordeal, the victims sought medical and legal assistance. They have since filed an official report with the Sriracha Police Station to initiate a formal investigation into the matter.

This disturbing incident serves as a stark reminder for partygoers to remain vigilant, particularly when interacting with strangers in nightlife settings. Experts and law enforcement suggest the following precautions:
- Never accept open containers or substances: Even from staff or people you believe you have “vetted,” never accept vapes, cigarettes, or open drinks.
- Stick with your group: Always move in pairs or groups and ensure you have a plan to exit together.
- Be wary of sudden location changes: If a new acquaintance suggests moving the party to a private residence or isolated area, it is safest to decline and head home.
- Trust your instincts: If a situation feels “off,” leave immediately. Your safety is more important than being polite.
Local authorities are currently reviewing the case and gathering evidence to determine the next steps in the investigation.
