Cam Newton Gets In a Fight At a Youth Football Camp In Georgia

(CTN News) – On Sunday, former NFL quarterback Cam Newton was involved in a brawl at a 7-on-7 youth football camp.

During the weekend, the incident took place at an invitation-only camp and tournament in Atlanta. It has not been possible for USA TODAY Sports to reach authorities with the local police department for comment.

It was organized by , a sports apparel and media company, and Cam Newton owns C1N, a youth sports organization that sponsored a team in the event.

During the incident, Cam Newton, wearing one of his trademark hats, was grabbed and scuffled with two or possibly three people before camp staff members and security officers intervened.

The Heisman Trophy winner at Auburn in 2010 and the first overall pick in the 2011 NFL draft, Cam Newton coached the Panthers for nine of his ten years in the league, earning league MVP honors and leading the team to the Super Bowl in 2015.

A season with the New England Patriots was also played by him in 2020.

How does TSP work?

It has been reported by an anonymous source that Cam Newton has been involved in a fight with two coaches of TSP (TopShelf Performance), a national program for 18U 7-on-7 football. The TSP also trains youth, high school, and NFL receivers.

“According to TopShelf Performance trainer/coaches Stephon and TJ Brown, “we are deeply concerned about the recent incident involving Cam Newton and our thoughts are with all parties affected.” Against any form of aggression, we strongly condemn violence within our community..”
