Timothee Chalamet’s ‘Dune’ Gets OTT Release Date

In the wake of its global premiere on October 21, Dune, the American epic sci-fi movie, has managed to impress the fans. The Timothee Chalamet-starring film was critical and the audience hit upon its release in 2021. The film’s success can be seen in its box office collections. Denis Villeneuve’s directorial earned a record amount and grossed over $400 million worldwide.

Dune is on its way to its digital premiere, as the highly anticipated film is moving to the OTT platform after receiving a terrific response at the box office.

Dune OTT release date

Timothee Chalamet’s sci-fi blockbuster will stream on Amazon Prime Video in India starting March 25. The app will be available in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. The release date for Dune was announced on Prime Video India’s official Twitter account. The streaming giant captioned a post with the poster, “it’s time we took you for a ride around planet arrakis in search of some spice ⏳ watch #DuneOnPrime, this Mar 25”

Dune premiered on HBO Max the same day as its theatrical release but was only available for streaming for 30 days on the platform.

Frank Herbert’s 1965 novel inspired the sci-fi blockbuster. The story revolves around a young nobleman named Paul (played by Timothee Chalamet), who leaves his home planet of Caladan to travel to the harsh desert world of Arrakis. Producers Warner Bros and Legendary Entertainment brought Timothee Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgard, Dave Bautista, Zendaya, David Dastmalchian, Stephen Henderson, Charlotte Rampling, Jason Momoa, and Javier Bardem to the screen for Part two of the film that is scheduled for release in October 2023.
