According to NBC News, Snoop Dogg described the opportunity to acquire the music label as “thrilled.”. He noted how he had been a part of the label during the early days of his career. Snoop Dogg said the moment was extremely “meaningful” for him as well.

“I am thrilled and appreciative of the opportunity to acquire the iconic and culturally significant Death Row Records brand, which has immense untapped future value.” “It feels good to have ownership of the label I was a part of at the beginning of my career and as one of the founding members. This is an extremely meaningful moment for me.”

According to Kestenbaum, the company is excited to return Death Row Records to Snoop Dogg. In addition, they wished the songwriter success and hoped the brand would flourish under his leadership.
