Madison Marsh, Miss America 2024, Is An Air Force Member

(CTN News) – The 2024 Miss America pageant was won by Madison Marsh, 22, a second lieutenant of the US Air Force, a graduate student at the Harvard Kennedy School, and a second lieutenant in the US Air Force.

She became the first active-duty Air Force officer to win the national title, representing Colorado. The sky is not the limit, and the only person stopping you is you.” Madison Marsh shared the story of Miss America on Instagram.

Additionally, she stated that anyone could step into the pageant world, even from a small town without participating in a pageant. Texas’ Ellie Breaux was the first runner-up.

A total of 51 contestants from all 50 states, as well as the District of Columbia, took part in the event.

Madison Marsh is the first active-duty servicemember to ever win the title.

In May 2023, just days before graduating with a physics degree from the Air Force Academy, Ms Madison Marsh was crowned Miss Colorado. In addition to pursuing her master’s degree in public policy at the Harvard Kennedy School and preparing for Miss America, she joined the military as a second lieutenant.

The experience has been amazing, bringing two of my favorite things together and hopefully making a difference for others, who can realize they don’t have to limit themselves, Ms Madison Marsh said.
