‘Eternal Sunshine’, Ariana Grande’s New Album, Arrives In March
(CTN News) – It was announced Wednesday morning that Ariana Grande would release her first album in four years on March 8, through social media posts that included new photographs from a recent session. The album was not described in any further detail.
It is a yes, and? This album’s first single, ”, was released last Friday, which wears its influences proudly: The song is reminiscent of ’90s hits by Madonna (particularly “Vogue”) and Janet Jackson, and the video intentionally references Paula Abdul’s 1988 clip for “Cold Hearted” — Abdul trended for much of the day on Twitter as a result of the buzz around the song.
I am astonished! Is Ariana Grande paying homage to Cold Hearted in her new music video ‘yes, and?’? I had an amazing time. It is an honor to be chosen! What did you like best about the video? Ari, I love you!!! ”
A carousel of Instagram photos and videos with the caption “See you next year” was posted by Grande on Dec. 27, after weeks of teasers. As part of her post, Ariana Grande tagged her producer Ilya Salmanzadeh, Republic Records, and a variety of others.
An Ariana Grande video shows her mother dancing. Another screenshot shows Grande dancing during a FaceTime call, while another shows her crying.
“The two moods of the album,” she posted on Instagram.
There is also a video taken by someone who notes that the album is almost to its end. “I am so tired,” she says in the video. In spite of this, I am very happy and grateful. My body also feels as if it weighs 3,000 tons.
In addition, Ariana Grande sent fans a care package that contained a photo of her red-tinted lips, red lipstick from her R.E.M. Beauty line, and a handwritten note that repeated: “See you next year.”
In addition to her entrepreneurial pursuits, Ariana Grande has also been working on her role in the upcoming movie “Wicked”, which is scheduled to be released in November. Earlier this month, Grande signed with Brandon Creed of Good World Management, four months after he parted ways with longtime manager Scooter Braun.
As part of a co-management agreement with Lydia Asrat’s firm Q10, Normani joins Demi Lovato, Troye Sivan, Charli XCX, Orville Peck, and Mark Ronson.
