Armed with official court warrants, the police tracked down all the gang members. They easily arrested Nikom at his home in the Mueang district of Chiang Rai. Officers then sent him down to the Na Mom police station for strict legal action.

Police successfully caught the other main suspects in completely different parts of Thailand. Officers arrested Habib in Yala province and caught Sombat in central Ayutthaya. They also captured the big boss, Bang Dee, at a security checkpoint in Narathiwat province.
