As Gaza War Rages, NVIDIA Raises $15M For Israeli Charities

(CTN News) – Nvidia, the U.S. chipmaker, and its employees have made a significant contribution to the humanitarian efforts in Gaza by donating a total of $15 million to Israeli nonprofit organizations.

The company revealed that employees from more than 30 countries generously donated $5 million, which matched and doubled to $10 million through a special program aimed at aiding those affected by the conflict in Gaza.

This donation is the largest humanitarian fundraiser in Nvidia’s three-decade history, highlighting the company’s commitment to making a positive impact in times of crisis.

Gideon Rosenberg, deputy general counsel, expressed gratitude for the widespread support from families worldwide and their prayers for the safe return of their colleague and other hostages held by Hamas.

Nvidia commended its employees for their genuine care and announced that the donations were directed towards various organizations in the region.

These organizations include Asor Fund (JGive), American Friends of Magen David Adom, Doctors Without Borders, Friends of United Hatzalah, IsraAID (US) Global Humanitarian Assistance, Jewish Agency for Israel, World Central Kitchen, and Zaka. By supporting these organizations,

Nvidia aims to provide assistance to individuals affected by the conflict and help rebuild their lives.

In addition to the monetary donations, Nvidia also donated numerous computers to families displaced from the north and south of Israel. This contribution will enable these families to stay connected and access essential resources during this challenging time.

Furthermore, the company provided thousands of hot meals from its Yokneam office cafeteria, ensuring that those in need have access to nutritious food.
