Watch Katy Perry Perform ‘Never Really Over’ on Saturday Night Live
Katy Perry has just finished her Caesars Palace concerts in Las Vegas, known for her extravagant and over-the-top live performances. Katy appeared on the January 29th episode of Saturday Night Live along with host Willem Dafoe.
She sang her new single When I’m Gone and a stripped-down version of her old song Never Really Over. After the SNL episode aired, fans took to social media to praise Perry’s performance. Some said the performance reminded them of Alice in Wonderland.

Katy Perry impresses fans with ‘SNL’ performance
In her first performance, Katy Perry performed her new single When I’m Gone wearing a red leather outfit and a mushroom top. The collaborator Alesso joined her on stage with a few dancers dressed as mushrooms. Later, Katy wore a baby blue dress and sang a stripped-down version of her song Never Really Over.
Social media users praised Perry’s performance on social media. One user wrote, “Katy Perry’s vocal on SNL is SPECTACULAR especially with the full-blown choreography, one of the best female artists in the game rn #SNL #KatyonSNL. (sic)” Another user wrote, “Never thought I would be vibing to @katyperry but that first set on @nbcsnl was probably the best thing I’ve seen on SNL from a musical guest.
