Karol G’s Private Plane Makes An Emergency Landing

(CTN News) – Thursday night, a private jet carrying Grammy-winning artist Karol G made an emergency landing at a Los Angeles area airport after a report was received that there was smoke in the cockpit of the aircraft.

It has been confirmed, through a video captured by the KABC website, that Karol G stepped off of the plane before landing without incident at the Van Nuys Airport.

The Karol Colombian reggaeton singer was emblazoned with a barbed-wire heart logo as well as a logo for her current tour, which is pictured on its side.

Karol G’s representative did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Thursday night, and the singer did not post anything about the incident on her official Instagram account during the overnight period.

During the touchdown of the Gulfstream IV twin-engine plane at Van Nuys Airport in California, there was smoke found in the cockpit of the airplane.

This happened at around 9 p.m. local time on Thursday, Feb. 29,” a statement from the Karol G Federal Aviation Administration, which is investigating the incident, stated in a statement Friday morning.

It is reported that the flight left Hollywood Burbank Airport heading to El Salvador International Airport shortly after boarding.

The Latin Grammy Award for best urban album to Karol G for her album, “Maana Será Bonito,” was announced this year, as well as five nominations for other Latin Grammy awards.
