Forbidden Door 2023 Results: AEW X NJPW Toronto Winners

(CTN News) – We are about to see which side of the Forbidden Door wins.

This will be the second year in a row that AEW and NJPW have come together to produce what was considered unthinkable only a few years ago, bringing together the best pro wrestlers from North America and Japan (and all around the world, frankly).

In the wake of the success of the first Forbidden Door last year, the sequel will take place at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto. Despite the fact that most of the big stars from both companies are set to appear on the 2023 card, it appears to be even better than the original.

Matches of great importance will start and end the evening. As usual, the AEW Forbidden Door World Championship is on the line right off the bat.

This is with MJF (reluctantly) defending his title against the Ace of New Japan, Hiroshi Tanahashi.

It will be a dream match between two of the very best wrestlers on the planet over the last 10-15 years, Bryan Danielson and Kazuchika Okada in the main event.

However, neither of these bouts may be considered the best of the evening. It is possible that that honor will go to a rematch of a match many consider a top contender for match of the year, Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay.

As a result of their first meeting at Wrestle Kingdom in January, Omega prevailed, the two men were absolutely thrilled with each other. There is no reason to believe that Ospreay will not put everything into getting his win back.

Throughout the event, we will be updating this post in real time.
