Booking a Sprinter Van for Your USA Trip

Your trip to the USA is fast approaching; do you have all your travel plans in order? Flights, check! Accommodations, check! Transportation will happen when we arrive….say what?

Transportation is one aspect of a USA trip that should always be a top planning priority. While you may be considering renting a car while you are there, we sincerely advise against it. Here is why!

#1: Distances are Longer Than They Appear

Many tourists from around the world recognize that the USA is a large country.

We are talking over 9.8 million square kilometers, or around 7.6 square kilometers if you count only the contiguous states, (meaning that you take out the non-touching states of Alaska and Hawaii as well as all of the USA’s island territories).

To put this in perspective, the contiguous states are almost the exact same size as the country of Australia.

Tourists who come from smaller countries often tend to grossly underestimate the distance and travel time required to traverse between cities in the USA.

For example, traveling from Los Angeles to Las Vegas takes four hours by car, which is considered to be a relatively short trip by US standards. That would be similar to traveling from Paris, France, to Brussels, Belgium.

For long-distance trips, like traveling from the northwest corner of the USA, Washington, to the southeast corner, Florida, that would be like traveling from Chiang Rai, Thailand, all the way to New Delhi, India.

No matter where you go, you could spend hours, if not days, driving on the road if you choose to rent a car yourself. This can be tedious, unsatisfying, and even dangerous for tourist drivers.

#2: You May Need a License

As you may know, the USA has federal, state, and local laws. State and local driving laws can vary, with different requirements and rules in each one.

For example, in some states, it is required for foreign drivers to have a valid driver’s license from their own country as well as an International Driving Permit.

One certainly never wants to break the law but researching and remembering the rules and regulations of each destination within the USA can be downright confusing and a waste of time.

#3: It’s Easy to Get Lost

Even with the pleasures of modern technology, it can still be easy to get lost in the USA.

From huge metropolitan areas to teeny tiny towns, winding streets, dead ends, and roads that feel like they lead to nowhere are common.

If you are in a smaller town, it is common to get directions that sound like:

“head down Main Street until you reach Uncle Ben’s red barn and turn left, then go until you see the large maple tree and turn right, then just follow the Creekside road until the fourth gate and you will be there.”

While locals nod in understanding, tourists, even American tourists, can be baffled beyond belief.

#4: Renting a Car is Expensive

Renting a car in the USA was never particularly cheap, but costs have soared since the onset of the pandemic.

You would be looking at an average weekly rental ranging from $490 to $743 per week, depending on the city where you are located.

That doesn’t even factor in gas, insurance, or vehicle upgrade costs. For most tourists, it simply isn’t worth renting a car for that price because they likely won’t be using it the entire time.

Many travelers end up spending time at events, theme parks, or just lounging in the hotel rather than constantly driving around.

While it may sound reasonable to rent a car and drive yourself, all those additional costs can really make it super expensive, not to mention stressful.

Booking a Sprinter Van is the Solution

The solution to all the problems above is simple: You will save time, money, hassle, and heartache when you book a sprinter van to transport you and your group to wherever you need to go, whenever you need to go.

Whether you simply need a pick-up from the airport to take you to your hotel, or you want to enjoy a long-distance road trip with your family to see all the USA has to offer.

you can rest assured that you are safe, comfortable, and right on time when you book a sprinter service.

Most sprinter vans can seat anywhere from six to 14 passengers, with seven to 12 bags. Sprinter vans typically come equipped with outlets, USP ports, tinted windows, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a variety of snacks and beverages.

With their comfy, adjustable seating, you will be riding in the lap of luxury for the duration of your stay.
