About Busan

Busan, previously known as Pusan, is the second largest city in South Korea.

A city which requires you to spend at least three days in its precincts, Busan has a lot to offer. It has some of the beautiful temples in South Korea.

Furthermore, it has one of the largest commercial ports in the world. The city is located in the Southern end of the Korean peninsula and therefore, unlike Seoul, the temperature does not drop to negative degrees frequently.

The city can be visited throughout the year, however, we would recommend visiting it during June-September.

Top Things to do in Busan

1. Haeundae Beach

This is the most popular and happening beach in South Korea. It attracts a large number of tourists every year.

It is located close to the high-rise buildings and yet, it is very distinct and attractive. It is surrounded by some exotic and authentic Korean cafes all around that again make the perfect combination.

2. Blue Line Sky Capsule

Busan has an extremely pleasing and attractive coastline. It has some of the best beaches offering aesthetic views.

But, what if one was to take a bird eye view of the entire coastline of Busan. Well, it’s relatively simple.

All you gotta do is take a sky capsule which is easily accessible from Haeundae as well. Therefore, it becomes extremely easy and fun to explore the entire coastline.

3. Cheongsapo Daritdol Observatory

Located at the end of the fishing village of Cheongsapo, this observatory forms a part of the coastline journey itself.

It is a skywalk observatory consisting of glass beneath your feet. It is built on top of a cliff and gives a surreal experience to all the visitors. The entrance to this skywalk is free of cost.

4. Catamaran Tour

The Boat Tour known as Catamaran Tour is one of the major attractions of this city of Busan. Again, it is located in close vicinity to the Haeundae beach. An hour long ride, it is extremely popular and booking needs to be made in advance.

The boat departs from Suyeong Bay Yachting Center and crosses the Diamond Bridge, Haeundae Beach and several other landmark destinations.
