Tim Soctt, De Santis, Haley? Trump Shortlists 6' Solid' Candidates For Vice President

(CTN News) – Former president Donald Trump confirmed at a Fox News town hall event in Greenville, South Carolina, that he is considering at least six individuals for the vice presidential position.

She introduced the potential candidates, including former Republican primary opponents Ron DeSantis of Florida, biotech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy of South Carolina, and South Carolina Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina, as well as Rep Byron Donalds (R-Fla), South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem (R) and former Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard, who shifted to the right of politics in 2022.

According to Trump, in response to Ingraham’s question about whether they are all on his shortlist, “They are all on the shortlist. They are all good people. They’re all solid.” He specifically emphasized Sen.

Tim Scott, acknowledging his positive contribution and endorsement, despite the fact that he had dropped out of the race a few years earlier.

The president of the United States expressed admiration for the qualities of the candidates mentioned at the event while emphasizing their strength as potential running mates for his campaign.

There has been a significant amount of activity on Scott’s part as the South Carolina primary approaches, where he is actively campaigning for Trump, who is facing competition from Nikki Haley, the former governor of the state.

Additionally to these six potential candidates that Trump has identified as possible vice presidential candidates, another name has been suggested as another potential candidate for the position is Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.), whom he has reportedly praised as another potential candidate for the position.

There is no doubt that Trump’s consideration of these candidates for a potential running mate in his future political endeavors suggests a dynamic landscape for his considerations in the process of determining his running mate.
