(CTN News) – In a collision on the tarmac of Logan Airport Thursday morning, passengers on two JetBlue planes had their travel plans upended due to the collision.

It has been reported that a collision between the two planes resulted in damage to the wings of one and the tail of the other plane.
As a result of this incident, neither the passengers nor the crew were injured and both planes were taken out of service for repairs. In order to accommodate passengers on the two flights, 777 to Las Vegas and 551 to Orlando, other aircraft will be used.
The airline said in a statement that safety is one of its top priorities, and that it would investigate how and why this incident occurred
There are clearly visible signs of damage to the wing of one of the jets in pictures that passengers shared on social media.
The incident occurred on the flight as one of the passengers, Dave Sauter, was on his way to work at a Super Bowl event in Las Vegas.

A Boston 25 crew member spoke with him as he waited on the tarmac to return to the gate before returning to the aircraft.
