Inside The Macomb Community College Building’s Vents Was Found The Body Of a Missing Man.
(CTN News) – Officials have reported to Macomb Community College that the body of a man who had been missing since October was found on Sunday in the ventilation system of a building on the campus of Macomb Community College in Clinton Township.
The man’s body was discovered by college police after they were called to investigate a foul odor emanating from the Macomb Center for the Performing Arts.
The man has been identified as Jason Thompson, 36, of Clinton Township, who was reported missing on November 1st. Thompson was last seen by his family on October 25th.
The details regarding Thompson’s demise remained unclear on Monday. Officials stated that the investigation is still in its early stages, but they have no reason to suspect any wrongdoing.
According to William Leavens, the police chief of Macomb College, “There is no basis to suspect foul play. It is crucial to bear in mind that this investigation is ongoing, aiming to comprehend the circumstances.”
College authorities have stated that they are currently awaiting a report from the Macomb County medical examiner in order to determine the cause of Mr. Thompson’s unfortunate demise.
