‘Elon Musk’s Starlink system will help Rebuild Damaged Cities,’ says Volodymyr Zelensky
According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX, spoke to him about providing additional Starlink antennas to Ukraine’s destroyed cities that do not have access to the internet.
“I am grateful for the support you have given to Ukraine, both verbally and in deeds,” Zelensky said in a tweet early Sunday. “We will be receiving another batch of Starlink systems next week for the cities that have been destroyed.”
According to the Starlink website, users can use Starlink antennas to connect to Starlink’s satellite-based internet service, which, based on the company’s website, is “ideal for areas where access to the internet has been intermittent or impossible.”
