(CTN News) – Adam Levine, frontman of Maroon 5, has been accused of cheating on his wife Behati Prinsloo. An alleged affair between Sumner Stroh and the pop star was spilled on TikTok more than a week after the couple announced they were expecting their third child together.
Who is Adam Levine?
As the lead singer, songwriter and rhythm guitarist of the pop rock band Maroon 5, Adam Levine is known as an American singer, songwriter and musician.
Adam Levine was born in New York City on November 13, 1980. He began his musical career as a lead vocalist and guitarist with the band Kara’s Flowers in 1994, of which he was a member as well as the band’s lead guitarist.
“I had an affair with a man who was married to a Victoria’s Secret model,” Sumner stated in her TikTok video.
According to her, she was naïve when she was young. It feels exploitative to me, quite frankly. Back then, I wasn’t part of the scene like I am now. My vulnerability to manipulation made me very easy to manipulate.”
At this point, Maroon 5 is pretty much elevator music. Adam Levine is a name you’re probably familiar with. She added, “After I stopped talking to Adam over a period of months, Adam came back into my life after we were seeing each other for about a year.”
According to the Instagram model, she received a direct message from Levine asking if he could name his unborn child after her.
Okay, I have a serious question. I am expecting another baby and I really want it to be named Sumner (sic). Are you okay with that? I’m dead serious,” the message read, with an emoji of a shrug.
Sumner said she felt “like I must be in hell” after reading his DM. Unknowingly, my morals were being compromised.”
She says she never wanted to come forward because she understood “the implications of doing what I do, making money the way I do, and being an Instagram model” and the “stereotypes” associated with being an influencer.
As for why she came forward now, she explained that she “sent some screenshots recklessly to friends I thought I could trust, and one of them had tried to sell to a tabloid.”
