The ‘Suits’ Cast Reunites At The Golden Globes
(CTN News) – On Sunday, the former cast members of Suits reunited at the Golden Globe Awards to celebrate their achievements.
As part of their attendance at the awards ceremony in Beverly Hills, Calif., Patrick J. Adams, Gabriel Macht, Sarah Rafferty, and Gina Torres were also present.
As Torres walked the red carpet in a sheer black shirt and floral-printed skirt, Rafferty wore a white dress while Torres wore a sheer black shirt. The two former co-stars walked the red carpet together.
During the ceremony, Adams, Macht, Rafferty, and Torres took the stage to announce that Succession was the winner of the award for Best Drama Series.
In the period between 2011 and 2019, Suits ran for nine seasons on USA Network and garnered a lot of attention. In addition to Meghan Markle, Rick Hoffman and others were also part of the cast.
As soon as Suits started streaming on Netflix in June, it quickly became one of the most popular acquired shows on the service, receiving 3.674 billion minutes of watch time in a single week, becoming the most watched acquired series on the service.
Suits broke Nielsen’s all-time streaming record in October, earning the top spot for a total of 12 weeks, where it remained for the entire month.
During an interview with Variety in November, Meghan, who left Suits after Season 7 following her engagement to Prince Harry, said the show’s renewed popularity had been a surprise to her.
According to the star, the experience of working on such a great movie with such an excellent cast and crew was one of the biggest highlights of his career. There was a lot of fun to be had by all of us,” he said.
The problem, as she adds, is that it’s hard to find a show these days that you would be able to binge-watch so many episodes of, which might be one of the reasons for this. Good shows, however, are everlasting, so maybe that’s what’s going on.”
