Introducing Microsoft Teams’ Instant Polls, Schedule Send, And Other Features

(CTN News) – American technology giant Microsoft Teams has rolled out a number of updates to its enterprise-centric communication platform Team.

A recent update of the app brings a number of enhanced features, such as a schedule message feature, instant polls, a toggle for unread messages, and scheduling of messages.

Polls that you can take in an instant

There is an option in Microsoft Team that allows users to run polls within the chat room. A quick poll can be made using the instant poll feature, which allows users to create quick polls with binary answer options, such as Yes or No. In order to do so, all they have to do is say the question aloud and then click the response icon that corresponds to the response they desire.

There have been 49 views of the video

It is worth noting that the earlier version of Teams was designed to support a maximum of nine videos on the screen by default (3×3). Now, Teams is able to support a 7×7 view on a screen for 49 people at the same time.

Users will now be able to set up a team so that they can see up to 49 people by default on the screen when they set-up their team.

In order to make individual calls and group calls easier and more convenient for Android users, Teams has introduced a ‘transcription’ feature.

Send the message on a schedule

As part of the Teams feature set, Microsoft has added the ability to schedule sends. Depending on how soon they would like a chat message to be delivered, users are able to manually select the date and time in the future.

To be able to do this, users need to select the Microsoft Schedule Send option and then right-click the send button in order to schedule the send.

Messages that have been searched for

When the user clicks on the chat message search feature, he or she is able to view the entire conversation thread, regardless of the age of the message, regardless of the message’s origin.

As a result of this feature, users are able to get a complete understanding of what is going on in the conversation. They do not have to enter each individual conversation separately.

Toggles for unread Microsoft messages

By turning on the toggle in the activity feed panel, users can check all the unread chat that has been added to their activity feed. The unread toggle can be turned off by users if they desire to view both read and unread chats at the same time.
