Supporters To Hear Donald Trump Address $355 Million Fraud Ruling

(CTN News) – At a campaign rally on Saturday, Donald Trump will address supporters for the first time since a New York judge ruled he must pay $354.9 million in penalties for falsely overstating his net worth.

Former President George W. Bush was scheduled to speak at an election rally in Michigan simultaneously with Nikki Haley, his last remaining rival for the Republican presidential nomination.

After Friday’s ruling in a civil case that threatened Trump’s real estate empire, Haley wasted no time going after Donald Trump on Saturday morning.

A federal and state criminal trial against Trump is scheduled for March 25 in New York over alleged hush money payments to a porn star. This makes Donald Trump the first former U.S. president to be charged with a crime.

Haley frequently claims that “chaos” follows Trump and that his legal issues make him unfit to serve as president or candidate.

In March and April, he’ll be in court; he’ll be in court May and June. He’ll be spending more time in a courtroom than on the campaign trail,” Haley told Fox News.

After Justice Arthur Engoron also banned Donald Trump from serving as an officer or director of any New York corporation for three years, Trump reacted furiously in posts on his social media platforms.

Over a decade, New York Attorney General Letitia James accused Trump and his family businesses of overstating their net worth by $3.6 billion a year to fool bankers.

Trump called Engoron “crooked,” James “corrupt,” and the case against him “Electoral Interference” and a “Witch Hunt” on his social media platform.

After recent victories in Iowa, New Hampshire and Nevada, Donald Trump appears close to clinching the Republican presidential nomination, and a rematch with Democratic President Joe Biden in the general election.

On Feb. 27, Donald Trump appeared at a convention for sneaker fans in Philadelphia, where he launched his own sneaker brand, gold-topped with American flag logos, before his rally in Michigan.

Trump urged young people to vote, saying, “I’ve wanted to do this for a long time.”.

While Haley has no clear path to the Republican nomination, she refuses to give up. In her home state of South Carolina, which holds its primary on Feb. 24, where she trails Trump badly in polls, she is making a possible last stand.

Haley also attacked Donald Trump for not commenting on Alexei Navalny’s death, the most prominent opposition leader in Russia.

Navyny, 47, died at the “Polar Wolf” Arctic penal colony on Friday, according to Russia’s prison service. According to Biden, the West blamed Russian President Vladimir Putin for the death. Evidence was not cited by Western leaders.
