Marvel’s ‘Ms Marvel’ trailer has been released for national and international audiences. Marvel Studios has introduced a Pakistani-American teenager, Iman Vellani, who will portray Kamala Khan in the Marvel Cinematic Universe Disney+ series Ms Marvel (2022). In this story, a teenager raised in New Jersey discovers that she has special powers. She then tries to figure out who she is and learn about relationships.

Kamala Khan is seen daydreaming about superheroes as she tries to become one. In a clip from Khan’s first day of college, her fellow students tease her for wearing an avengers tee. During the video, people are praying in a mosque, and Kamala is dressed up in a hijab and burqa, to a shot of her cosplaying as Captain Marvel. Watch here:

Kamala balances high school, family, and superpowers in the trailer. The scene shows Kamala receiving an amulet that gives her superpowers. After becoming Ms Marvel, she explores her powers as she always dreamed of doing. The series follows the actor as he transforms from a normal human being to a superhero and how she manages to save both the outside world and her personal life. The series explores Khan’s conflicts with supervillains as well as conflicts with his family and religious duties.

As Ms Marvel, Iman Vellani appears alongside Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Laith Nakli, Azhar Usman, Travina Springer and Nimra Bucha. Deadline reports that Anjali Bhimani has also joined Ms Marvel in a recurring role. Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are directing the series.
The Muslim superhero debuts in ‘Ms Marvel’. It drew attention when Marvel announced that a Muslim girl would take on the role of Ms Marvel. The studio originally scheduled Ms Marvel to premiere in late 2021 but moved it to the summer of 2022 because of the COVID 19 pandemic.
